We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Superintendent to oversee civil, track and structural works for our Albury to Parkes rail and infrastructure project with Inland Rail. This pivotal role involves managing construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will bring strong civil and structural expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of rail and infrastructure operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Supervision and Management:

- Oversee all civil and structural aspects of rail and infrastructure construction projects, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and industry standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Develop and maintain construction schedules, resource plans, and budgets to meet project goals.
- Team Leadership:

- Lead and mentor a team of site supervisors, subcontractors, and workers, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and resolve any issues to maintain productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.
- Proven experience as a Civil Superintendent, Construction Supervisor, or similar role in rail or infrastructure projects.
- Strong background in civil and structural engineering, with knowledge of rail construction techniques and standards.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and subcontractors.
- Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and risk management practices in rail and construction industries.
- Experience working on major rail infrastructure projects.
